We have several designers dropping multiple print files into a hot folder for the print tech to print thru his RIP station using Flexi Production Manager. Is there any way to nest any of the files into the white "dead" space of other print files? i.e. three pre-nested 18 x 24's from one designer...
I only hate eps format if gradients are used in the design. Making an eps out of gradients will result in a thousand "bands"/shapes of colors to make up the gradient. Pdf is the solution there. If the design is made up of various raster images then tiff is what we use.
Yep, been there done that. Sometimes I'll include a reference to the color within the proof if the request was to use specific pantones. Our paper printed proofs and emailed proofs can vary in color which is explained within the email or verbally to the customer.
