Just wondering what you guys recommend for lettering on a semi trailer. The trailer has flat panels with the smaller, flatter rivets. It has no recessed areas. It will br 6-7in. letters with a logo above that. The lettering and logo will be digitally printed and laminated. It is not a wrap so...

As long as your not using their logo you could go to bestbrandsoftheworld, download the goodyear logo and get the colors from that. I do this once in awhile if I'm looking for a certain color. Then do a test print to see if it is what you are looking for. John

Yeah.. I just got those parts from you last week hoping it would fix the problem. Did a head soak today and it seemed to help but then I just did another test print and it's back. Do you think I can handle the head replacement? John

Yeah I made my own for a friends SRT. Not too bad of a job. Didn't use anyone templates, just made from scratch. I have three pics of this car in my pic album if you can access that. John

Never used it but just got a couple test prints from my supplier. I'm not really impressed with the quality as compared to the oracal I've been using.

Same here. I wasn't calling you a liar. I have never used any chrome that seemed soft enough to stretch and conform to panels like that. You got me interested now. Please post when you find the company that supplies it. John

I'd sure like to know how to make chrome vinyl conform to all those curves. Does'nt seem possible. Probably something like Alsa Corp spray chrome with clearcoat. John

Most suppliers have easy remove vinyl or you can try oracal 3621 if printing. John

Try going to bitmap and make transparent. Select background with wand and then you should be able to stack them. Depends on how busy your file is but if it is just a word with white background it should work perfectly. John
