Greys are a PITA for some reason. On our 540i they come out a green tint too. I have tweaked the profile to get the best results but greys seem to always have a green hue to them. On solid colors it is not as bad as a black to white fade.
Good luck hope you figure it out.
We have a $25 minimum for cut vinyl. $35 minimum for printed stuff.
It cuts down on the kids wearing me out over copywrighted decals for their windows that I wont cut anyway. Plus you have to cover your wasted material and other shop expenses.
Now that I think about it I should really be...
It's all good. I would have been laughing at me if I was you. If I got twisted off every time a problem came up, I would be pissed all the time. I have learned to roll with the punches, it sure help to keep my blood pressure down.
Now if I can keep from killing an employee that is skimming...
Ohh y'all want me to elaborate.
Versaworks was pausing during contour cutting. It would cut one or 2 decals then take a 5 minute break (like one of my employees) then cut a bit more and then back on vacation for 5 or 10 minutes. So on and so on.
After a complete uninstall and registry clean...
There should be slipper adjustment knobs on both the take-up and laminate reel holders. Sounds like you have the take-up adjuster set to tight. Look on the left side of the machine, you should see knobs that line up with the reels. Loosen the knob that is in line with the take-up reel (not so...
Its funny that it only causes cancer in Lab rats and in California. So I tell my guys that they are safe, they aren't rats and we are far enough away from California that it wont hurt ya. People and rats from California must be sensitive to carcinogenic chemicals that the rest of the country has...
The cutter has little to nothing to do with "tiling". That is taken care of on the software side of things.
If your using Corel you will probably have to manually create your tiles.
HMMM looks similar to some stuff in Roland Vector Art but someone has added the Ram head to it. I cant find an exact match on the disk, it is probably made from several graphics put together. Rebuild something similar and sell them both sides. Offer removal at an additional charge.
And for the...
I am an idiot i guess. I guess my part timers kicked in and I miss read the problem, thus gave an answer that did not apply.
Yes sounds like the % is off in production manager.
Note to self read twice answer once.
It will also default to the cutter size. You can set up other sizes in the production manager and just select the size vinyl you are using.
Example would be if you have a 54 inch cutter and load 24 inch material. It will default to the 54 inch size but you can change it.
Change the color of the letters to CMYK White. The edge will not print the letters and will leave the vinyl color showing through. It will just skip over CMYK White like nothing is there.
Sure. We have VW installed on 2 of our workstations and print from either. I have not tested to see what happens if we both send something at the same time or while it is printing from one and send from the other. Works good for us.
On my SP-540i you use the printer's buttons. That is the only way to get the printer on your network. Then once you set the IP on the printer then you can connect with your software.
