What should I charge for 1000 coroplast one sided white with red ink signs (pesticide application)? My unit price sending out to get printed is around 24 cents each. 4" wide x 5" tall.
AND - where do I get the little PVC stakes? Thank you!
I typically used beige masking tape but the last "case" I bought kept tearing, it drove me insane. I bought the blue painters tape now. It's OK but doesn't seem to stick as good as the beige. I'll probably stick with blue.
Thankfully, this project has been scrapped! The neighbor wouldn't take any money until they figured out what all needed to be fixed. TOO MUCH LOL - as he suspected. He enjoyed the effort the boys made and has it for sale now. Just sitting back waiting to see what the next "big idea" will be LOL
I outsource all printing and I buy heat transfers for apparel instead of buying my own screen printing equipment. Very little overhead and cuts down on labor.
You're exactly right! A friend started complaining and pissing and moaning to me his shirt lady was "lying" to him that she couldn't get black shirts a few months ago. He said she just didn't want to look, she's lazy. I said...she's not lying, I can't get them either, nobody can. His reply...
I haven't done many lighted signs. Most have been with new material. But I just lettered one of those old school bar ones yesterday that have the 4" bump out. Red and blue cut vinyl came off easy. Black was a son of a gun. There is some shadowing but my graphic covered almost the entire panel so...
Obviously the black is easy to replicate but the fill looks more difficult. Sometimes I make a quick attempt at duplicating things before throwing out an estimate. You could spend 15 minutes and see how close you can get, that might give you an idea how long it will take. +1 for retail. If this...
I guess the easiest solution is to use this as a learning experience. Tell them an hour and time yourself. Take a pic of the job print it out and write the time it takes on the sheet. Then you know for next time. Eat the extra labor if it takes you longer. Then you have a good idea for the next...
Not sure if this helps but I use my Pantone Color Bridge and manually match the colors up then send the values to the vendor. It's easy if you're only dealing with a couple colors. Of course the RGB and CMYK never match exactly so sometimes I choose different CMYK than the card suggests, I...
If it's a big job, it hurts my fingers to keep pulling, I sometimes burn my finger tips. I almost always set my heat gun on something and burn it. Just saying it's a crappy job and I will be damned if I do it for free LOL
Last week I had a big trailer and we agreed on 3 hours of removal. If it...
This is what I think when I read your post. If this is correct then paint he background first and use paint mask, its not as sticky as regular vinyl so it won't pull the paint off...or it shouldn't...or you might need to touch up.
His youngest is 18 so he/she is/did graduate from high school. I know a lot of people that stayed together and divorced once the kids were graduated from high school. They may have been thinking about this for years. And the Epstein thing...I never knew that, could very well be!
OP -- Hmm..I had 1 window with full perf on it about 4'x6', 1 window with full perf about 2'x6' and 1 window with "Now Open" cut vinyl about 4'x4' and it was done in 35 minutes and cleaned for the new vinyl.
I should probably rethink using heat. Thankfully I've not had a problem by just keeping the heat gun further away and not holding it in one spot. No sense in learning the hard way...razor blade next time!
In my experience, it's OK to gently heat it as long as it's not cold out. Do no use a heat gun if it's freezing outside or the glass can shatter. I just removed 3 large windows. I don't use a lot of heat, I just go over it to warm it up. I pull the vinyl off in a downward motion going almost on...
