Had done multiple recoveries and kept producing same "banding".... Did nozzle checks and all came up clear... changed out the ink cartridges and boom.... printing great and flawlessly... so not too sure if it had something to do with the ink running low or not?

No colour bar on, some of the prints are running almost right to the edge of the material (61" wide on 61.5" wide material) so not much room... normally I run the colour bar.
I let the printer settle for the night and about to start it back up... heres to hoping the rest helped...

I've run into this issue before and couldn't ever get it to work itself out, but I can't get anything to work on these giant sheets (130" long)!
I've played with the tension on the take up, as well as adjusted the media advance rate while it's printing but its still showing these band marks...
I've done it a couple times (illy, onyx 10.5, summa). Fairly easy (excuse me if I don't remember all the steps exactly but should give you a really good starting point), do the normal "CutContour" spot colour name (or whatever you have changed the setting to in onyx), set to print to file to...
We've never had that and we're in western canada and get some intense sun when it's still below zero which will make the glass expand and contract at different rates and haven't had any issues. If you put black on an interior application for sure it would crack.
Chaz
If its an exterior install it shouldn't crack the glass. The glass won't absorb enough heat from an exterior install to crack the single pane of glass it's installed on (if installed on the interior of a sealed unit that is a different story). We install straight 2 mil gloss black on exterior...
I agree, I would check out if your software is compatible with win 10... I can say (at least it works for me) that Adobe CS6 runs flawlessly on win 10 on my surface book. Now I can't say that it would work on every ones system as I've seen weird things like that before (same program, same OS...
I know this is an old post, but I just got the same error (mechanical error 1500) after a head crash on the material (last time I let it run over night). Now the s50-670 just sits on the error screen. As tgrinds explained the pressure roller position sensor etc. does anyone have an idea of how...
Looks fairly decent, the find my font portion looks great if it works well. Will be interested to hear from someone who upgrades how well it works. Same with the new raster to vector options...
Hopefully the price isn't crazy to upgrade either... Would love yo upgrade right away but I think my...
Have started using it while ago and it's been great! We now stock the MD5/MD3. So far we've had 1 failure but found out it was not the material but actually the wall it was installed on. It prints really nice on our epson and seiko machines. As far as install goes it's easy as pie. With the cost...
Personally I would build my own and would recommend it (if you know how to assemble a pc and install all the necessary programs etc.). I do that for all pc's in our office depending on it's purpose. Also buying a prebuilt (maybe not sign burst pc's) like dell or hp etc all have unnecessary...
We use the SCPM-3 for our everyday mask, works well. With wet application most likely would have to leave the mask on for a bit, or get daring and soak it down and wait a bit and remove it depending on the material/pattern your installing. For stuff that we need to have more adhesion we use the...
This is a little bit off the topic but I agree that Avery is going to ****... we just had a large job with Avery etch mark (around 7,000sqft) in a cut pattern and went to mask it... mask just falls off when you pick up the sheet... thought the mask was no good... tried different masks... still...
