  1. Attention HP l25500 owners!

What is required to run Caldera? Will it run on a Windows 7 computer?
  2. Generators

Tony, if you want to run computer equipment you should have an inverter based generator. The next thing you should consider is if you need it to be stationery or portable. The generator business seems to be pretty unstable, you can't seem to find one model or even one company the same from one...
  3. confused about tiny incised lettering... "engraving fonts" ?

I've never seen any little circle anomalies like you're experiencing but I've had my fair share of similar glitches. Usually they are related to faults in the font. If you look extremely close at the fonts, it's likely that you'll discover two points on top of each other in those areas, or...
  4. Breakaway or "run through" banners?

I believe Fellers sells them, check their catalog for information.
  5. confused about tiny incised lettering... "engraving fonts" ?

Did you try anything with the pyramid tool path? Maybe with a negative depth? I think that might be the proper way to approach this but I'm not sure I've never used Enroute to do that type of incise carved prismatic lettering.
  6. confused about tiny incised lettering... "engraving fonts" ?

I don't think you need an engraving font, I think you need to set up your job differently in the Enroute software. I'm very short of time right now but I'll try to look and see if I can find the right thing for you. You are not engraving, rather you are incise carving/routing.

Could someone please give me the CMYK formula for Gerber Brown Foil? Thank you!
  11. 1-shot, or latex... for durable RED on primed HDU

Interesting how no one had a word to say about latex....I would not use 1 Shot anymore for exterior work.....I would however, use a good quality acrylic latex paint, such as the line you are using. I have some red latex out in the field that is going on 3 years and it looks like new. Some of...
  12. web address dilemma

Could you explain that a little more please, I'm not sure I understand what you are saying.
  13. Your Opinion of Seamless Texture Tiles

My use of seamless tiles is infrequent, however I am always cognizant of their value. I absolutely agree with Stacey in that knowing that the service is available would make me try to use it. It's like any other resource, tool or equipment, if you have it and are familiar with it then you will...
  14. Has anyone attended the FREE Gerber Omega Training Seminar

I've gone to that seminar and many other of Gerber's. This one is very inspirational if nothing else and shows you some unique ways to use the Edge. It would even be very interesting to someone who does not own an Edge. For the price of admission it is a great value not to be missed.
  15. Historical Sign Source

Thanks Bill, I think you might be right.
  16. Historical Sign Source

Anybody else have any ideas? These seem to be very specific, not a Gemini or Mathews sign.
  17. Historical Sign Source

Is anybody familiar with and does anyone have a good source for a historical sign like this? This would be 2 sided cast aluminum. Thanks!
  18. accuracy of the S160T

As far as accuracy goes, I was told that the OPOS system is good for speed when volume cutting and not necessarily for greater accuracy. Therefore if you don't need it for the additional speed then maybe it's not worth investing the extra money in that feature. Nick, perhaps you or someone else...
  19. towing invoices

I can print them too, if you're interested let me know the details and I'll provide you a quote.
  20. Do You Kern?

For what it's worth....I'd just like to point out that Illustrator offers three kerning modes: Auto - which I always assume will kern typographically correct in accordance with Bob's opinion, or at least in accordance with the designed characteristics of the font, whether they be correct or not...
