my local supplier, garston, which hand delivers everyday for me, is usually my vendor of choice.
but, when i can get latex ink cart's, free shipping, for $30 less - i go shopping.
i have 5 or 6 preferred vendors, depending on the product....
i don't care one bit where it comes from as long as it's the cheapest..... in the end, that is the way to maximize my profits.
glantz, cowboy, grimco, garston, etc.... whoever is cheapest.....
sorry, but bashing a guy for not buying some dumb product when you can rig your own is stupid.
i've been in the sign industry for 100 years and if i can make something out of shop junk to save a buck i will....

i can't see why you wouldn't use them, pre drill the sign box, hold it to the wall, hammerdrill the brick/concrete and bang it in.
simple, effective and permanent.
i install signs permanently, so i'm not worried about the next guy taking it down.
what's it take a few extra minutes to...
i work on these types of signs and i'd say run!
with what you can do with a digital display, it's not worth the investment in ancient technology - the old mechanical trivision.
takes just about as much time to check and see if the blade is exposed as it does to close it, so i'd say your both lazy....

I'm very happy with the HP latex and how it has performed. I paid $110 for my last prinhead and it's still in it's packaging as i only bought it as a backup. I couldn't imagine having a few backup heads sitting around as costing a grand or so....
i recently bought his DVD and was disappointed. I thought the graphics he chose to wrap the vehicles in the DVD were way too simple. I wanted to see how graphics lined up from a crazy bumper to hood to fender and we got to see a basic solid color wrap.
