  1. Latex 360 color consistency is not there

Most likely an issue with your lc/lm head. How much ink have you run through it? Can you get the grays back to neutral with a onboard calibration or re-linearazation if using a RIP?
  2. Backlit Fabric on Hp Latex 360

Fisher will apply a release liner to their fabrics, which should make it feed like it was a vinyl.
  3. Difference between household inkjet printers , and production printers.

I can't imagine where it is cost effective to print what amounts to 1.5" x 2" labels on any inkjet printer. I would do them on a digital press or even a cheep tabloid color laser printer. http://alturl.com/pfpuw These are polyester labels but you could also use gloss paper labels.
  4. Printing directly to the HP L265 from a computer - Hookup suggestions?

Use a network switch to connect all your equipment. Use a router as connection between the network switch and your ISP. It would be alright to let the router assign IP addresses if you want, but don't let it assign printer addresses. Assign those manually. You might also want to disable IPv6 as...
  5. Printing Phototex with latex

At 16Pass you should be able to hit 200 or 205 degrees without any problems. I wouldn't be surprised with the Latex aqueous version you would get some smudging.
  6. Printing Phototex with latex

I decided just to call Phototex and see what they say. Had a nice chat. Yes the aqueous will smear. You'll have to spray overlaminte it if you want to protect it. Solvent you don't. He said some people prefer the aqueous version with latex. Not sure why as I have always got excellent results...
  7. Printing Phototex with latex

Well I print Phototex Solvent all the time with the Latex and for most applications (8' and 25' tiled walls for example) I do need to laminate it. With the solvent version it is pretty tough and you can wet wipe it without any coating smudges. Like I said I have some older aqueous here that when...
  8. Printing Phototex with latex

I am not talking about the inks, I am asking about the coatings on phototex. Typically Solvent coatings will not smear while Aqueous coatings will when wiped with a wet cloth, which is what I found in the past with phototex. I am just curious why does phototex recommend using the Aqueous version...
  9. Printing Phototex with latex

Has anyone done a wet wipe test with the latest solvent vrs. the Aqueous phototex. In the past I tried the Aqueous version in the latex and when wiping with a wet cloth the coating smeared where as the solvent version did not. I don't have any of the new (if it is new) Aqueous Latex version to...
  10. Printing Phototex with latex

If you have the latest firmware on the L310 most likely the old profile will be off and there is no way to correct it. Create a new Media setting and then calibrate and profile. Don't clone an existing media as it will carry the old setting with it and you will not be able to correctly calibrate...
  11. HP Latex 360 - Fans revving very high randomly during print operation?

Did you reboot the printer and do the fans revve up again when printing after the restart.
  12. HELP! solid color issues!

Been awhile since I ran a Mutoh. Can't remember if you can change the screens, but slowing the machine down with higher passes would be one thing that might help.
  13. HELP! solid color issues!

    Nozzle clogs?
  14. Skewed feed on 360

I haven't seen the alignment issue, but maybe I better keep a closer eye on it. The menu issue, now that is familiar. Mine gets so bad at times that I have to reboot the printer. On a daily basis the menu lag is the most annoying thing about this printer. Back to our color shifting. Now I am...
  15. Latex 360 color consistency is not there

Caught my L360s color being off this morning. This is about 3 weeks after changing heads and doing new linearizations and profiles. Printing pinkish warm this time. Difference now is since since I no longer use the printer to calibrate I did I re-linearized with the RIP which tells me what is...
  16. ROLAND ECO-SOLVENT vs. HP LATEX - My personal experience owning both.

After what HP did with latest firmware my option is it makes more sense to do everything on the RIP. Only create new media and do not calibrate it on the printer. Leave it at recommended. I have been forced to redo all media because of what HP did and so far everything is working excellent doing...
  17. 320% Ink density on the L360, What happened?

I might be wrong here but I think I remember one of the backlit setting allowed you to go to 320% ink density. Today I was setting up some fabric at 260% and felt that it could go higher. Checked every backlit setting and could find nothing higher than 260%. Did some recent firmware change that?
  18. fabric bunching on 360

In the Media seeing screen when you go to edit the setting, in the first edit screen at the lower left corner in Advanced Settings. In the Advanced Settings screen you will find Input Tension.
  19. fabric bunching on 360

Have you experimented with adjusting the feed tension on direction of the other?
  20. ROLAND ECO-SOLVENT vs. HP LATEX - My personal experience owning both.

From my experience that is the best approach with the L360.
