  1. ESP? this happens quite often for me

If you guys are intrigued by this you should read about what the CIA was doing with it's Stargate project back in the day. You can find a copy of the remote viewing manual they used with a quick google. Very interesting stuff.

Good luck with it, hope you can get something worked out.
  3. Best way to deal with damaged paint before wrapping?

+1, don't even look at it funny until the customer has signed a waiver stating you're not responsible for any damage. Can't really give you any tips other than that.

He started his own shop and the shops he used to work for have been dragging his name through the mud.

Are you using Versaworks as your RIP, and if so, are you using Max Impact for your color management settings? If you're using Max Impact that could be doing it, try it with Prepress US.

  13. need some professional advice

Either do it yourself or have them check with the FDA to see what kinds of materials and inks are allowed to be used. It's all going to depend on what type of food is processed in the facility and what exactly they're doing with it. The place I used to be the food safety delegate for only...

  15. Beware of Flash updates

Ninite is good for this too. It's also a godsend when you have a new computer or do a fresh Windows or Linux install. Just check off all the programs you want and it grabs them all and installs them for you, and it unchecks any and all options for toolbars and all the other extras most...
  16. Who posts at signs 101? What's your title?

Other than billing, sales, and marketing, I handle pretty much everything as far as wide format and lamination is concerned, which means I quote, preflight, rip, print, laminate, & otherwise finish, and sometimes design, all the wide format and lamination jobs, as well as ordering materials and...

    sorry for your loss
  18. new laptop cant see files on my external drive

Probably just because you're using a new laptop, Windows is set to hide hidden files by default. Those files and folders were probably already flagged as hidden, but the Windows install you were using before was probably set to show hidden files, if that makes any sense.
