I bought corel and when I loaded it, all creativity got sucked out of me. I saw it and went back to Flexi/Illustrator. Sad to because I really want to learn how to use it.

The hardest part I would think would be that everyone will be biased on what is the best software, equiptment, material and so on all while missing the point. What someone finds to be the best solution can easily be edited because of there terrible experience or their favortism towards the other.

I think you might need to reread that ASI Application because I don't think they have ever been that low. You can spend hundreds to a few thousand to get what you want and need from them. I think Sage is at around 5-600 Dollars though and thats not counting add ons that you may or may not want...
