  1. ADA Signs on glass?

It also doesn't look like they wet it out very good. (how do you quote photo attachments?)
  2. Opinions on logo...

I wish I could see the dimension more clearly on the section view. Any chance I could get you to upload or send me a high-res copy of that portion? Elevation views are typically fairly easy. Section views get tricky when there's a lot of detail. EDIT: I was able to zoom in, scratch the upload...
  3. Opinions on logo...

I'm going on very little sleep, so I'm probably missing something super obvious, but what attachment details are you referring to that are hand drawn? EDIT: You must be looking at the surveys on my website. If so, yes, I primarily hand-sketch everything. The attachment you included is very...
  4. Opinions on logo...

I do like that. It would have to have "Services" worked in there somewhere, but yeah...it gets the wheels turning. I'm kicking myself for the wasted time spent self-"designing". Now I have to decide if I want to change it again. Very frustrating. Regardless, I appreciate the comments and ideas.
  5. Stock cut out aluminum letters

Not sure if you're wanting them finished or unfinished, but A.R.K. Ramos will provide them at whatever thickness you want. They're not a stock item though - they're pretty much cut-to-order.
  6. Opinions on logo...

Yes, I scrapped the first idea after wasting way too much time on it. Not positive what you mean by this? I don't really 'draw' beyond what you see. I've had Photoshop forever but rarely use it. This was the first time in years...I guess it shows. Agreed on the font being stretched - one...
  7. Hello from the Dallas, TX area

It's a good place to make a living, I just don't like having to travel so far for decent scenery.
  8. Opinions on logo...

The crosshairs are supposed to represent the element of accuracy and precision. Quite possible. Throughout the U.S. there are quite a few sign companies using variants of "Precision...". Agreed...and with the "SIGN" in red, it kind of disappears at night. I had it on the back window of my...
  9. Opinions on logo...

I'm posting this a bit reluctantly due to the history leading up to the development of the current logo and not wanting to hear that the final product is "meh" (or worse). But avoiding critique by those of you who are true designers doesn't change the verdict or impression the logo gives others...
  10. Hello from the Dallas, TX area

Thank you all for the warm welcomes.
  11. removing vinyl from backlit (with a steamer)

New to the site, so reading through some older threads.... Curious how this would work in cold weather (ie: removing old, brittle vinyl from an exterior sign face in cold weather)? Think a heat gun or steamer would work better?
  12. Hello from the Dallas, TX area

Thank you all very much for the welcome. Thank you...I see you guys did the rollerskate in Mesquite. Nice job!
  13. Hello from the Dallas, TX area

Hello all. My name is Moze Collins. I am the Owner-Operator of Precision Sign Services. My focus is on non-illuminated sign installations (vinyl, plaques, dimensional lettering, etc.) and sign surveys. I'll leave it at that in an effort not to break any forum rules that are likely in place...
