i didnt duplicate but i got my email set up, my browser. all of my art files and such are on a second hardrive in my comp. i just put other hd in it and reloaded programs and im done. i also make sure outlook contacts are updated and bookmarks.

Im also running 2 dell 8300s, which that doesnt matter as you said harddrives are going to fail and they wont give you a warning, just a matter of time. Over the years I have had every brand fail, they are not different. I will say the last disk fail i had I was back up and running in no time...

acylic sucks, we use all lexan now. acrylic is brittle cheap. lexan looks and holds its white color longer

ccleaner does a lot better job than windows does of cleaning that hard drive. also windows defrag sucks, ccleaner makes nother program called defraggler

i bought a hard drive docking unit a few years back. this is how I back all my stuff up AND when I fix peoples computers I can put their hardrives in it and pull all their stuff off of it. its also great for putting hardrives in that have spyware and removing it with ease
