Call CET, ask their opinion. They might have a customer who is running two of them and would love to have yours. You might even get 5K for it used.

Why are you outsourcing? Equipment problems? Are there problems with finding employees? Are you down sizing? What items do you need to outsource? Give a little more info about the circumstances.

Something that might keep the training cost down a bit it maybe doing a live Zoom tutorial with someone. They don't have to leave their home and someone can help you from anywhere in the country by logging onto your computer. BTW. $100/hour is high if you were hiring a full time employee, but...

Are you thinking of buying a printer because you have so much business you want to bring it in house, or are you looking to just get into the business of wide format printing? If you're just getting into the business, why not get orders, have someone else print them/sub it out, then just resell...

Depends a little on what you do for a living. Signs, banners, CNC, fabrication?? Do you have a wide format printer? They are money makers with the right workflow. Do you need a flatbed laminator? Great for laying vinyl down on large hard substrates. How about a down payment on a flatbed printer...
