It looks like you might be having some crazy conflict between Flexi 7.6 and 6.5. The installer says 7.6, while the error box says 6.5. You might want to try uninstalling 6.5 and then proceeding with 7.6 install. If it happens to be a bad disk or something, you can also download 7.6 from this...

Hey Phil, if you're using the Flexi 8.1 profile in 8.6, you might want to try converting it to the latest profile type. 1. From Production Manager v8.1, File > Export Preset. 2. Select the preset (profile) you're using. 3. Now in PM v8.6, Setup > Color Profiler > Convert Legacy Preset...

Using a router to connect computers to printers can sometimes cause a pause like you described. If this is the case, you might want to try using a cable to directly connect it to the printer instead.

Flexi 8.0 and 8.1 were not "designed" to work with Vista or Windows 7, so the free update to 8.1 may not fix your problem. Flexi 8.5 and higher are designed to work with Vista & Windows 7, so that might be an option if the 8.1 update doesn't work. It'd be nice if the update worked though. Good luck!

Try reloading the factory defaults. You will lose any custom settings, but it will probably fix your problem. Go to your Windows Start menu > Programs > SAi Production Suite > Preference Manager. Select "Factory Defaults" and click "Load" and "OK." Then reopen Flexi and see if it fixed your...

That issue was fixed in build 1472. For anyone who isn't sure how to download the latest build, from Flexi go to Help > "Check for software updates" and then click the green download icon next to the build. Right now build 1472 is the latest and greatest. Good luck!

The drivers should install during the program installation. The only other disks that came with Flexi 7 would've been the Fonts and Graphics CD and ICC Profiles. Good luck! :smile:

Flexi has a feature to make the screen look like Corel 7, which might ease your transition into the 21st century. ;) It's compatible with XP and Vista. If you have more questions about it, let me know.
