  1. Something interesting....

Ouch. A five gallon bucket and a bag of quik-krete won't set you back but about $10.
  2. Something interesting....

Makes more sense to me than burying me in some field and forcing somebody to weed-eat around my tombstone for the next 200 years.
  3. This is why gov entities suck!

I still say you should get your business license under the name "SCREW THE PRATTVILLE CITY COUNCIL SIGN COMPANY, INC."
  4. This is why gov entities suck!

Prattville is a commuter community five miles north of Montgomery.

Man, I made that mistake years ago with a pizza buffet place. We had almost $700 in gift certificates with them and I thought it would be awesome....we'd eat free all year! We ate two or three times a week for a couple of months. Then it became once a week....then once a month. Then it was...

Tried disconnecting, rebooting and reconnecting....no dice. Thanks though. Any other thoughts?
  9. Give this a try for vinyl removal

I was wondering the same thing about the pan face. I'm also wondering how many polymetal panels you've kinked slinging them against the table like that. Good luck with the pole, may it bring you much wealth and happiness.

It's been working fine with the USB for years. Did they change something with USB ports in Windows 7?
  12. Wing restaurant logo

Yeah, your sketch showed me where I was thinking wrong. For some reason the first image I had of what you were describing was a chicken wing standing up with the bone at the bottom and for the life of me I couldn't see it working. What you sketched, though, has potential. Probably not for the...
  13. Roland plotter cutting random numbers

I'm trying to install an old PNC-1000a on a computer running Windows 7 and Flexisign 8. We're connecting through the USB to PARALLEL connector we used on a Windows XP computer with no trouble. On the new computer, though, when we send a job to the plotter it starts cutting a row of random...

Because having the bone hanging out the bottom would mean only about 50% of the used space would be used for the message, constraining it inside a funky shape would cut that down even further. edited to add (after seeing your sketch it's not taking up as much space as I envisioned)

Okay, ran with Tiki's idea and made it round to give me more options with it.
  16. Help Please....will screen printing work for me

Hi, hire a sign company to screenprint them for you. If you're doing 10 or so at a time the price isn't going to be too outrageous. Your logo really, really needs some attention.

Couple of other ideas before I break out the sketchbook (although I'm still leaning toward tweaking the first one. It's still going to be the most visible) Oh yeah, I showed her the flying chicken wing cityscape version this morning....she just rolled her eyes.

  19. Opinion Please

Looks typical for the genre and the clientele it's advertising to. Can't base a design on what you like, you have to base it on it's effectiveness to it's target audience.
