  1. Scissor lift on slope

If they rented it for you and fairly new it won’t raise if uneven. It has a safety stop built in to warn you about being uneven. Those lifts are heavy and plywood would not be safe. Good luck.
  2. Anyone use Fontbase (font manager)?

I am a Mac user and years ago used Suitcase and tried others to keep my fonts in order. But once Apple came out with Font Book have never had to use those add ons because Font Book works great and it is pre loaded on the OS.
  3. Printed Translucent Adhesive and old lightbox acrylic

Are you printing on white translucent vinyl with translucent adhesive then it should be alright but clear vinyl with translucent adhesive would be better with a new face.
  4. New customers from online to local

Always used Stouse for years for things like that until I found a local printer that gives me work within a week. Brochures, rear view mirror car hangers, menus, mag ads, but I do not do business cards, not enough money in those and Cosco even prints those now, I do the artwork and customer does...
  5. If you forget the premask

Yea, you don't want to cut into that million dollar a year business with a 1/2 hour drive to get the cheaper application tape. "time is money".
  6. Is there any one man shop making around 500k$ in annual sayles

I read what he said and what you replied by making one million with four people, sounded like bragging.
  7. If you forget the premask

As long as the green tape has less adhesive strength than the vinyl copy he should be OK. The tiny bubble lines from the tape may cause a problem on the application.
  8. If you forget the premask

That is called "special rigging", I used the word special to replace a derogatory word that would offend people. Tex always brings his Agame on installations.
  9. Is there any one man shop making around 500k$ in annual sayles

He was asking about one person making $500,000 per year, you guys are only making $250,000 a year for one. You need to get moving and make 2 million with four a year.
  10. When Will Adobe Do This...

Sounds like they are trying to squeeze some more money out of their software. I have moved to Affinity Photo and Designer. Adobe is parking meter software.

    Tex's blow up "Auto Assistant".
  12. Epson Surecolor R5070 resin printer

Has anyone bought one of these. Do they need 220 electric, does the resin hold up for exterior use?
  13. This is for anyone who screwed up lately...

Stacey, you need to drink more beer at the County Fair and you won't notice that kind of thing.
  14. WYLD GFI...minor flooding but back up and running.

Cleanup from storms is a lot of work, glad you have a good outlook and work ethic.
  15. Vinyl removal from hell

Well Colin has had about 5 days to let his fingernails grow so the picking of the vinyl might go faster and instead of the job from Hell it has moved into Purgatory. Say your prayers for him and maybe he can get out.
  16. Vinyl removal from hell

A Vinyl Zapper would destroy the awning material. It spins to fast and would heat up the awning material and take off the vinyl down to the scrim. Try to put the awning material on a hard backing and use your dull razor blade method. Sounds like the vinyl letting has melded into the awning vinyl.
  17. lamination

I think you and your boyfriend need better topics to talk about. "I ran out of lamination just as I was getting close to the end of a 4x8 today." "That's hot Babe, it turns me on when you talk about putting your hands on those rolls of vinyl and slipping it in the laminator."
  18. What is everyones experience with Grimco

No problem from me with Grimco.
