They may have upgraded their systems and it really doesn't work on their new system. If you don't believe them, do what you said and call and see if they tell you the same thing. Not really much else you can do.

Whatever it was probably came from Facebook. Get MalwareBytes Anti-Malware and do a full scan, that should take care of it.

I'd go for the VS, especially since they're giving you a 2 year warranty on it as opposed to the 1 year on the SP. Plus, even if you don't use the metallic and white all that often it's still nice to have.

You could always try Seramark or PhotoTex, just tell them to keep the backing paper and they can stick it back on that when they switch them around.

If we're listing home remedies, I've heard vinegar does the trick as well, and it also doesn't waste perfectly good booze. Perfectly good is a relative term, but yea, vinegar :thumb:.
