a little more info would help...are the panels already taped? if so, when you squeegeed the tape, did you work the same way on each panel? otherwise you may have stretched the material...
are you paneling in GSPlot? or are you creating the panels in Omega/GA and sending as separate pcs to...
for personal use, i have a kodak easy share with the printer dock...the wonderful thing about it is that when you dock the camera on the printer, it charges it....takes wonderful pix and prints them just as nicely...

how long ago was it? was it just the drivers? when vista came out, a lot of stuff didn't work with it because no one had the drivers for it....if it was drivers, have you checked to see if there are updated vista drivers now???
i have vista on my home desktop and personal laptop....i haven't had a problem with it other than the basic issues when it first came out of certain drivers not being compatible....as of now, no issue....i turned off the security and user account control....i paid extra for my laptop to have it...
wow, and to think i spent $3500 on omega....that was a major waste of money when i could have just bought the Design Studio for $35 at Walmart.....where were you? if only i knew this before....:Big Laugh
you also try inkscape....it's a free vector based program....and for what you're planning to do, it would work very well....here's a link:

i don't know how people think it will be cheaper for them to buy the machines, software and material....you'll spend more on just the software than actually having the vehicle lettered.
