What happened? I was printing, a solid blue background, then all of the sudden, PINK? WTF, if I was out of ink, wouldn't it tell me before this, like it usually does? So I put a new blue in, and now the test prints show no blue! AAAAAAAARrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Welcome to the club! Flexi-8 is notorious for random crashing at the worst times. I have found that the recent update has affected this program negatively and would not suggest it. Anytime I print large jobs, I use VersaWorks with absolutely no problem. Flexi has some serious issues to attend...

Mine stops, and resumes with no problems or dis-coloring. Even after 2days of waiting for ink(stupid me)

you can print a tiff file, at least I can in versaworks.

use your make transparent tool under the bitmap edit toolbar. Simply adjust the tolerance, click the white to be removed, and click the check mark

I'll be honest and say that I'm not thrilled by it. While they do have their place, I think you could either make or buy from istockphoto etc., anything that is on auroras dvd's. Also, alot of the fills are the same, they just change the color, and that sucks. Another negative is their logo on...

I know you have them in your flexi program, I just dont know how you would get them to corel

Yeh, my flexi8 does it all the time. I guess the more the program costs, the more it crashes!

On a side note, do you guys always run with that many pinch rollers? I know this has nothing to do with the problem, I'm just curious. I only use 2 on 54" due to the fact that I hate the chances of my ink getting skid marks during a contour cut.

54" We love our 540, print out 4'-8' signs all day long.It's a huge bonus

Why is it when I use eyecandy, rasterize,un-mask etc. When I go to print I only get parts of the letters with the effect. I always just end up exporting as a jpeg, then importing back in. Then have to make transparent. What am I doing wrong? Running Flexi-8,, with production manager
