Are you using a second monitor that it's going to, or is it popping up behind the versaworks window? Keep in mind, it won't have have a seperate taskbar button, it's considered part of versaworks' window. Mine usually pops up down at the bottom, as in the attached image.

I was always under the assumption you had to load the take-up reel before printing, didn't know you could pause during printing and then load it. Not a bad idea, but isn't the whole point of the take-up reel so you don't have to bother with it once it's started?

Did you have the layout set to "center on media"? that can throw it off sometimes as well if you load it back in in a different spot from where it came out and it reads the sheet size as a different size than what it printed at. if that's the case then don't hit "get media width" in the settings...

You could always give PhotoTex a shot, it's removable and reusable, and leaves no residue. It's technically for wall graphics but I've heard of people using it on their vehicles, supposedly it also holds up pretty well to the elements. Ugh, mounting... only tip I can give you is go slow, and laminate beforehand. If you happen to get any spray on the print, you're screwed, but if it's laminated, you can take a paper towel and some rubbing alcohol and it comes off with a little elbow grease. Also, if you think it would be...

Was gonna say pretty much the same thing. Google docs isn't too bad either, although I'm not a huge fan of web apps and keeping my files in the "cloud" in general.

My condolences. Had to put mine down last year cause he was suffering, had him since I was 6 or 7, almost 20 years. Still have my cat that I got a few years after him, but she's gettin up there as well.
