Steve, i love it. Thanks for everyone who took the time to explode this idea in a matter of minutes into beautiful designs. They went far beyond my capabilities and much farther than i was going to go with it.

i had to get the file undr 20 kb to get it to work on signs101. i have since lost the fire guy file, i found it again, but it's too big, so i have to figure how to make it small again... it's high on my priority list as you can see....

got it... as you can tell, logo design is not where i make my money....

i replaced the font "o" with a circle because i was going to make the inside of it a gear, but then i liked it without it. but it is very bland and boring as is. i might ditch the background and go for the gear... they are engineer's, they have given no direction...
