I can back Tim's thoughts regarding the Canon IPF printers. I have had my IPF8000 44" 12 color printer for around 3 years and have had absolutely NO problems, not even a clogged nozzle.

Only a little bit of the blade should show as suggested in an earlier post. Also turn up your pressure to 18 and work your way up. Depending on the blade sharpness you may have to go up to 20. This is based on my FC7000 using Oracal 651.
