  2. Corel X3....unwanted Duplicates!

Oh I misunderstood, I don't recall trying that. Next time it happens, I'll give it a shot. Thanks. I'm curious why do you think it might involve the space bar?
  3. Corel X3....unwanted Duplicates!

It's not a sticky keyboard issue, I've gone as far as swapping keyboards to see if that works, but it doesn't.
  4. Corel X3....unwanted Duplicates!

I found a way to fix it when it happens without having to restarting your computer: Close out of Corel, and put your computer in sleep mode, then exit out of sleep mode, start up Corel and it works fine! Not a permanent fix, but it is allot quicker then restarting your computer. I'm going to...

  6. Corel X3....unwanted Duplicates!

:omg2: We have the same thing happen here too. I have no clue why it does that. And closing out of Corel doesn't fix the problem, you have to restart. It's so annoying. I noticed it started happening after we installed the newer updates. Does anyone else know how to fix this?
  7. Windows 7

I'm excited about the new windows explorer, or libraries. It seems like a great way to organize content and get to what you want quickly all within one program or system. http://arstechnica.com/journals/microsoft.ars/2008/10/31/arspdc-windows-7-libraries-under-the-microscope
  8. Give me your opinion

Reps right! service is key. Make sure who ever you buy from can get a quality technician to your place quickly. If your equipment goes down, you are dead in the water and not making money.
  9. Windows 7

How do you test the beta. I dual boot vista64 and xp now, and never use XP, so I have no reason to have XP on there. It would be cool to play around on W7 to see what it's about.
  10. Help getting started, looking to buy stuff.

Sarge, you’re a glutton for punishment. I skimmed through this thread this morning, to try to understand where you are coming from and I just can’t. Maybe you can see where I am coming from. At least try. I personally think you are very confused at the reason the country isn’t what you wanted...
  11. Windows 7

Yeah part of me is excited about the new taskbar, part of me thinks that I will immediately want to figure out away to switch back to the old taskbar, mainly because i'm used to it. I'm excited about what they might do with the touchscreen capabilities. My next laptop might have to be a...

  13. Help getting started, looking to buy stuff.

:ROFLMAO:I say go for it man... but you won't get help from me. I'm not going to make this endeavor easy for you, because you aren't a sign maker, you just want to make "stickers" for your "hobby". I'm more inclined to help the fellow sign maker for whom you must of decided wasn't...
  14. How did you get into the signs business?

Looking good Weasel! I grew up in the industry. My parents would bring my brothers and I to work during the summer so they could keep track of us. They would pay us $1 an hour to basically follow my dad around cleaning up after him. We would mow the lawn, sweep the shop, and help my mother...
  15. Anyone on Facebook? Are social networks really this addictive?

That may be true, but I would also advice your clients that if they link their site to sites like this (especially facebook) and they website has their email address or even a standard contact form, they can be certain to see an increase in spam in their inbox. The only way to stop this is to...

  17. type 1 fonts on vista.

Yeah, I ran into that too. As I was looking into this problem I kept hearing that Type 1's are soon to be a thing of the past. I always thought type1's were better quality then true type, but upon further research I found that that is not the case. It's just that there are so many terrible...

  19. type 1 fonts on vista.

What is weird is that they work on our other vista machines. The only difference is mine is 64bit. Right now i'm trying to track down a font converter so I can make the type1s either opentype or true type. Does any one know of a such a program. A quick google search is showing a few but they...
  20. type 1 fonts on vista.

I tried software called MainType and it says: "font not accessible" Font nav installs them, and I can pull it up programs like Corel for example, but the preview is blank and i can't use the font. Same thing with directly coping the fonts into the windows font folder. And when i try to use...
