There was some initial problems with the Maintenance Assembly on these machines. Mutoh has replaced the Maintenance Assembly on all the machines I am aware of with a Second Generation Maintenance Assembly and it seems to have rectified all problems.

They are not OEM... But, I am gald they worked out for you...

JMO..... I would buy OEM.......

Buy the equipment and develop your own profiles based on your machine, the inks you use and the medias you use... That is the right way to do it or, you can use generic profiles developed by others that will most likely produce the results you want to achieve... A good profile takes many hours...

The Mutoh 1608 has a media roller as well as the substrate tables (with rollers). It has the same Pre, Platen and After Heaters as the 1604 as well as the Forced Air Heaters... Prints on Vinyl and other thick substrates as well...I think they go for about 45K......

Glad they did..... In my experience that would not be the case... But, like I said I am glad they worked out for you...
