  1. First full vehicle wrap

Looks nice! Wrinkle and bubble free? Thanks, Kurt
  2. Masking glass for sandblasting

Yeah I know, I sometimes get the same feeling. Either way they are just etching light so if I can use standard vinyl that is awesome. I was going to use the thick heavy stuff MachServTech suggested but I didn't want it to tear up my plotter so I will go with some scrap and see what happens...
  3. Masking glass for sandblasting

I guess I am looking for something more custom that I can cut on my plotter not anything pre-made. Thanks, Kurt
  4. Masking glass for sandblasting

Hey all, Got a request to make some masks for a client who wants to sandblast glass. DO I have to use the thick and heavy sandblast mask like for carved signs or is there another type of product I can use for this? Thanks, Kurt
  5. Where to get these signframes?

Thanks a ton! Perfect. Thanks, Kurt
  6. Where to get these signframes?

Anyone know where to get this style of signframe from? My local distributor doesn't have anything and I am not seeing it in any of my catalogs. Thanks, Kurt
  7. printer choice

Yeah really user preference. I have seen things in each on that I like. The Mutoh's are great printers for the money, the Mimaki's are workhorses the Roland's are simple and reliable and that new Epson, blows my wifes skirt up and will hands down me the next one parked in my shop. Thanks, Kurt
  8. Did anyone else notice....

lol. Never noticed that in particular but my wife sure hates it when we walk through a mall or store and I identify all of the different fonts on logos and signage. Thanks, Kurt
  9. Website ???

I got the whole sales pitch on this deal the other day. It is $31 per call that comes in. So if I get 100 calls in a month and potentially no work out of it or just a bunch of tire kickers I still have to pay $3,100.00 per month. No thanks, I will take my free listing and use my website which I...
  10. Making the switch

MAC user here for about 12 years. Never look back. I only have 1 PC and it is to run my RIP. That will be going in the trash when the new printer setup gets here. I just love the Apple setup. Not to say anything bad about windows based stuff I just like how it works for me. Thanks, Kurt
  11. Business Card Design Critique

If you are going to do "The Graphics Garage" you need to make it read that way. I agree the color contrast is bad as well. Try doing a search of "garage" images on istockphoto.com or a similar site that may offer some more contrast. I like the name if you get it to read right. Thanks, Kurt
  12. 4 cars to wrap matte black vinyl

That car is BA. I would even drive it if Frank wrapped it in snakeskin... Thanks, Kurt
  13. Low pricing.

OK are we being punked? If we all stick together and get our prices where they SHOULD be people will have to again pay what they should for the items we are producing. Your though process is really confusing. So when someone new comes in you cut your prices to get the jobs? Then when they go...
  14. Left or Right Handed?

    Lefty over here... Thanks, Kurt
  15. Learned or Inherited

Joe, I think it is a bit of both as well but it certainly is learned, developed and refined. If it where a "god given" talent we would all be awesome right out of the box, unfortunately I believe this is something you develop and become better at. I have even seen some people with no ability at...
  16. Cardboard Cutout Displays?

Just make sure you give them specific instructions to package and ship them like they care. Last time I ordered some they looked like they have been folded over about 10 times... Thanks, Kurt
  17. Epson GS6000 Discontinued???

Yeah I know, they should make up their minds already...lol I was also told they are made by Mutoh, but Epson makes the heads for Mutoh, Roland, Mimaki etc.. I don't know but all of the prints and samples I have seen off of this machine are amazing, color is far better than my Mimaki. Thanks, Kurt
  18. Epson GS6000 Discontinued???

Oh I agree... I am just saying what I was told. I wasn't born yesterday. I have a Mimaki and am for the most part happy with it. I do think the Epson print quality is superior but I would like to see how they hold up. Thanks, Kurt
  19. rear bumper

I will be taking mine off the next time we wrap it as well. Thanks, Kurt
