Ok I just checked the 4*8 sign.and that looks as good as the day I installed it. The sign backer is Fiber brite. So if the layered vinyl was the problem as some of you suggested in previous post why is it not a problem on the two other signs.
Techman if you look at the original post you will see that the wrinkles were NOT there when it was installed. To clearify no those weren't there when the job was done.
Ok I just added another picture of the same van that shows the shrinkage of the material.
Fred: it is a brand name material and I will say it's NOT Avery. I have never used and never will use Avery from all the horror stories I have heard.
Techman as far as the install what are you...
Ok so I get a call this morning from a company that i did work for about 15 months ago. I lettered up 11 vehicles for them as they changed there logo. So the customer tells me that the letters are screwed up on one of the trucks. I told him I would stop down after lunch only to find this. (See...
I just wanted to let everyone know that Dave at the Mass Cadlink office said Signlab 8 will work with the Canon IPF 8000. Thanks to everyone that replied. Now it's time to check with the supplier to see what upgrade offers they have going.
Greg I suppose you give that to someone you really like! Just stick the vinyl to the item you are wrapping and sit and laugh you a$$ off watching them try to unwrap it. I like that idea, I can think of a few people that I would love to do that too.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Brian thanks for asking! Yes I posted it around 2pm today and am waiting for a response. I also have an email to tech. support that I sent last night and am still waiting for an answer. Hopefully I will hear from them tomorrow sometime.

I am looking for two things.
1) Are there any merchant members here that sell Signlab? I checked with Cadlinks site and there are no local dealers.
2) I am trying to find out if the driver they use for the Canon IPF 8100 12 color printer will work for my Canon IPF 8000 12 color printer...
I am still testing Phototex and so far so good. I even put a rectangle graphic on my truck window and it holds up to 55mph with no problems. I even put a piece on the outside back window and it has not curled so far at 10 days. I also have some on flat and semi gloss paint and it's holding up...
Sky you have to remember that FLAME is not that old and is still probably trying to figure out what planet that is from.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

why not make a foldable template from coro or 1/4in plywood that when unfolded will give you the marks you need. Just use a bolt with a thread locking nut put on just enough to let the two pieces rotate. The plywood will hold up much better than the coro.
If you put some straw over the top as insulation for a day or two you should be fine. It really has not been cold enough for the frost line to move down that deep. I actually saw a company pouring sidewalks along one of the State roads 2 weeks ago and they had insulated blankets they put over...
First off your explanation was very well put and I do see where you are coming from.
For you to make the above statement is quite amusing considering we are all entiteld to our opinion. And from the looks of the 143 views in the last hour or so it looks like there is not a whole lot of...
