Roland almost was and should have been sued for the PC60! That said, it is not characteristic of their machines. The machines (inkjets) do what they claim they do.....they learned their lesson.

As Fred says, welcome. You can send a sample of the media to Roland, and send them a sample print. The other option is to look at getting a profiling setup, and you will never have a problem then.

We do not use messenger, unless we have to. It does not even start with windows. There are settings in messenger that allow you to choose how it starts up AND, if I remember correctly, to block ads that use the messenger service.

When speaking about vinyl plotters, stepper motors are used in the lower quality machines. Servos, by far, are a better component - and as Fred states, much faster and accurate. The problem, in regards to plotters, lies in the fact that when a manufacturer is looking to "cheapen" a machine...
