wow... I did some work for JP Mascaro once upon a time also. Don't even remember what the job entailed.
One of the companies I deal with will actually weld a channel frame for the faces to slip into. They used to attach the panel directly to the ribs, but said they had too much trouble...
I don't think she saw me "eat" some of my words. I did check out some of her work (nice) As for pricing, I'm guessing that is where you draw the line at being a fan...... being 2x more than her prices?
So it takes your printer 10 minutes to print that out. You probably had twice that amount of time just talking to your customer.
Do you really value what you do, or is this a part time hobby for you?
-no offense intended!!!!
(edit to eat some of my words). Nice shop & work Karyn.
I must be blessed. My customers tell me I'm alot more expensive than others, yet they leave their old sign shops (for me) & keep coming back.
Perhaps those shops that charge half of what I do, don't have the time to give that personalized service. It seems for my customers, SERVICE is more...
you're way too nice of a guy. Of course I knew that allready from reading your posts over the years.
As I get older, I find myself....lets say, not being as nice as I used to be.:ROFLMAO:
I'm sorry JS... I'm not even going to read all the responses you got (at least that way, you know my response is not biased by others....haha)
Now as nice as I can put this...hmmmm
Instead of feeling liberated, you should feel like a SUCKER.
After spelling everything out on your proposal...
are you doing the install? I'll assume you're attaching stringers across the building? Will the two pieces be butted together, or did you attach them in some fashion?
I always want to know the "WHY" is this happening thing also......but at the sake of driving yourself nuts, why don't you just recreate that arched line in flexi and export as an ai file, and replace what is there (assuming thats the only problem with the file)
I'm glad you feel better.....hell I feel pissed enough for the both of us.
I'm with Rick.....its not cool for a landlord to underbid his tenant. If it were me, I'd be tempted to put up a sign advertising for one of their competitors.
