There are a few reasons, first, the highest speed machines are all UV now. Second is the smell. We upgraded to the Colorado. Just FYI, two of these machines would still cost less than one Colorado and print faster. It's all about how our workflow works here though.

We fight this too. Try a blade with a shallower angle. Something that almost cuts with more downward force.

We run oversized sheets for that reason. Allows for bleed and registration marks while maintaining 24x18s. Our digital sheets are around 50x100 inches.
