  1. Price Posting and Discussion at Signs 101

Pull your foot out anytime there buddy. :ROFLMAO: (you can add, right?) As of this posting, its 66-62.... NOT in my favor.
  2. Price Posting and Discussion at Signs 101

Doug, no question that this site is a great place....lets start off with that. While we didn't get everything some of us thought we were going to get for our $50, we did get a lot of what we were after, and in my opinion what we got is worth the $50 a year. What exactly did you get besides...
  3. Price Posting and Discussion at Signs 101

WHAT A WASTE OF TIME. Here we have both the reputable sign shops, voting right along side of those that have bastardized the industry. Kinda like having the fox and the rooster, both having a vote whether or not to eat the hen. I guess the real question is....What is Signs101? If your...
  4. Price Posting and Discussion at Signs 101

Fred, can you put up with just one more post from me? Fred, I'm pretty sure you consider me a thorn in your side reguarding this topic, right about now. I will say, its not my intention to cause you grief. Also, this will be my LAST post on this subject....we disagree, and I can live with...
  5. Price Posting and Discussion at Signs 101

Thanks Dennis. (and a great wholesale MM):thumb:
  6. Price Posting and Discussion at Signs 101

should we worry about the silent majority? If they don't care enough to even vote, then I can only assume they don't care about the outcome. I feel your frustration. keep in mind Fred, I'm not looking to add to your workload. A simple rule against (or more restrictive to) pricing in the...
  7. Price Posting and Discussion at Signs 101

One more thing..... Lets be clear as to what this poll is actually going to determine. This topic is alot more complex than some of you realize. As Fred stated, the current policy does not prohibit merchants from posting their WHOLESALE pricing. We're not just talking what YOU should...
  8. Price Posting and Discussion at Signs 101

Not bashing you in any way, so please don't take it that way. That being said, I can only make the observations that, 1 you are rather new in business and possibly need the pricing guidance...and 2) you have chosen NOT to be a contributing member, so if there were to be any changes it would put...
  9. Price Posting and Discussion at Signs 101

Literally a handful of discontinued items. From what I just saw, you can't even get a picture of the item, just a product code. Some of the items, I didn't even know what they were, without referencing the catalog. Hell, the ONE roll (item) of HP vinyl they listed didn't even state a width...
  10. Price Posting and Discussion at Signs 101

Wrong !!! you can view a "NO PRICE" catalog, unless you supply a customer number. Now, why do you suppose that is???? Fellers will have to give me a commission for a new customer. :Big Laugh
  11. Price Posting and Discussion at Signs 101

I'm sorry but did I read you correctly? You vote one way, but believe another? WTF??? :ROFLMAO: My vote (my compromise) is "More Restrictive". Buy a CM and talk price all you want.
  12. where can I get a vector

What a great bunch of people we have here. THANKS. OP, I'm not printing any, but could float you a "low interest" loan.
  13. where can I get a vector

of the eagle on the back of a dollar bill? :thankyou:
  14. "backside" font.....

Looks exact to me Shovel. Pat, your a riot.
  15. new job

When your finished, you will need 2 inspections then. One by a UL shop, who will then put their label on your cabinet, then an inspection from your UCC officer. gotcha.
  16. new job

I know you didn't ask, just trying to help (although you don't see it that way). And your lawyer & UWhatever are wrong (unless you asked them 10 years ago). Using UL components dosen't mean the cabinet YOU fabricate is good to go, and dosen't need a label. EDIT TO SAY: As long as your...
  17. new job

you waste alot of time typing when all you need to do is call Pioneer supply or N.Glantz. They both deliver in your area (and both in business 10 years ago). Again...Unless one of your other businesses is in the electrical field (and your UL listed) then don't waste your time pricing out...
  18. new job

This guy is just pushing buttons. I wouldn't be surprised if he is one of the regulars, under a fictitious name.
  19. new job

Not so.... Your in PA, so your cabinet will need a UL label. You will also need a UCC inspection (and permit) to go along with your municipality permit.
