I have 7.6 v2 Will it work with Windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit? If I do need to upgrade, which sellers provide the best support?

We used to back up with black and then after cleaning the gold we'd do a gentle wash with lacquer thinner to remove the black. We could then varnish and have gold on both sides. The black will provide more durability though.

Perhaps there is not a long term lease and you could start being recognized in that neighborhood and then relocate and be recognized as successful. Can you letter a truck on the street parked in front of your shop?

With a new sharp blade, 16 is way too harsh a down pressure. I'd back it down to 12 and add a bit if needed.

For a job like that, I like a bigger steamer. Some of the truck shops have them to quickly clean fleets. I can make arrangements with them to come in when they're not busy. One guy can blast and get a few letters ahead while the other pulls. If it's only a few letters, I wouldn't bother, but...

A friend found a program called CrossFont (runs on the PC) that seems to do the trick. The trial version was able to convert the files to Opentype, which worked. I didn't see an option to convert to TTF. Instead of extracting the .sit file, CrossFont is able to look inside the archive...

So, a customer bought a font family for a project I'm working on and sent it to me. It was compressed with a .sit extension. On my PC I unstuffed it, but didn't find the normal PFB and AMF files for each font. Only the AFM's and the others are .bmap. I tried changing the .bmap's to the PFB's but...
