Here's a suggestion. It's a very plain, common font that you probably already have. Upper and lower case logos seem to be all the rage lately. For racing(?) make the rectangles really long.

If at all possible, lose the "inc". You need some new fonts. You can type your text into most font sites and see what it would look like before you buy.

It might take you a few minutes the first time but the next time you need one you'll know how. What if you need one in a shape that Fred doesn't have? The one posted is really crappy BTW. I wouldn't be able to use it, even if it was vectored.

Draw one segment by tracing it. Make a second copy and do a blend(count how many segments you need). Then use fit to path to fit the blend to your circle. (This is for Corel.) If you do it this way you can get that clipart monkey off your back.

Up here a 4x8 sheet of Alupanel goes for 65 bucks. Half of one would be 32 bucks. How cheap was your "crystal clear shiney" wood? It just sounds like you are going at this in the most bizzare way possible.
