  5. Florida woman retires her ’64 Mercury after _____ miles on the road

These days, most people consider themselves lucky if a new car lasts 5 to 10 years. Make it to 100,000 miles in your vehicle, and the car company might make a commercial about you. That makes 93-year-old Rachel Veitch a notable exception. Veitch is retiring her 1964 Mercury Comet Caliente after...
  6. CiberSupply is amazing!!!

Just wanted to chime-in, cause I think Bobby and CiberSupply are great, dealing with Bobby is so different from 98% of people I deal with, he always goes above and beyond, taking time to do things right. Like I said, he is in the TOP 2% in my book, wish they would clone him. :notworthy:

  9. Werner Work Platform.

What about Home Depot, as another poster mentioned, at our HD, they had them stacked in the main isle with a big $22 show card on the box, anyone can purchase them for 1/2 price thru next week or till they are gone. The early bird gets the worm (work platform). As far as the specifications...
  10. Should I bother with this risky job?

Have you ever been sued? After you finish your work on the sign, and a piece falls off and hurts someone, and they go after your customer, his lawyer will be giving you a call, get ready, you might want to get a lawyer on retainer and be ready for the party... Oh, like others have said, have...

MISSION COMPLETED Went to Lowe's, they had the same Werner folding aluminum work platform for $44.00 each, showed the customer service desk the HD Pro sales card listing them on sale for $22.00, they matched the price and deducted an additional 10%, sold me two for $19.80 each, so, I got them...
  12. Does anyone get free shipping on their Banner Materials?

I get free shipping from most of my vendors on orders with a minimum of $75, and one vendor with a reasonable $3.96 fuel charge. If I had to pay for shipping, I would change vendors....
  13. Werner Work Platform.

Our local Lowe's store has a price match policy to compete with Home Depot, they offer a competitive price match plus 10%, so if I take my HD Pro savings post card to them tomorrow, I should be able to get them to match the Home Depot price of $22, less 10%, amounts to $19.80 and also pay less...
  14. Werner Work Platform.

Pat, that is NOT bad in my book, I would do exactly that, purchase two more at the sale price go out one door and then go back in to the return desk and get a refund using the one week old full price receipt, without feeling bad at all. Some stores like Lowe's and Sears's have a 30 price...

  20. Less is more wrap

Flame, I like the overall design, I think more wraps should be simple and clean like what you did, not all gaudy using every effect that Aurora Graphics sells. However I have to agree the placement of the birds head is pretty bad and sticks out like a sore thumb to me. The bird image should...
