  1. FlexiSign Pro 7.6v2 Gradient print setting?

You can also try reducing the line frequency of the screen in Flexi's RIP, sometimes gradients will print smoother if you print at 300 DPI as opposed to 600 DPI, I also recommend changing the rendering intents in Flexi's RIP from their default settings change - Vector Graphics from relative...
  2. Roland PC-60

Got to rasterize your gradients, better yet create them in Photoshop adding a touch of noise then save as Tiff uncompressed, import into Flexi and mask with desired elements, sounds like a lot of troublesome work but it's actually quick and easy. This is the key to successful prints from a...

  6. Clip & Tile

Versaworks dosen't do that for me, rip entire file then select desired panels to send to the printer, no re-riping occurs. Do you possibly have some tiles deselected when originally ripping the file? That might be the problem.
  7. 300 or 600 DPI?

  9. crosscut in the middle of a job?

I recall 10 years ago cutting the first job on my new Graphtec FC4100 cutter, the job was 15' and the cutter stoped at 60", pulled out the manual to find that there was a factory default max length setting of 60", I changed it to 600" and havn't had any length problems since, the FC8000 series...

  16. pattern paper walks when plotting

When cutting your length of pattern paper try using some type of square or triangle such as a t-square to insure that you are cutting the edge a true square (90 degrees) to the edge, this should help with aligning the paper in the printer so that it tracks straight. I make my patterns on my...
  17. I got hit with a trojan horse...naaaaaaaa

About 5 days ago I clicked on one of Shovel's links (something about MOBO) and when I did this system went totally haywire, spyware, adware, malware, pop-ups, viruses, worms "oh the joy of it all" even my Netgear hardware firewall did not stop this crap. My tech spent several hours cleaning this...

  19. ?Changing a pinch roller on a roland soljet 545EX

You can do this, it ain't rocket science, I just had to take mine apart on my Versacamm to clean a bunch of glue out of them, I just used a small angled pick (Sears Craftsman brand) to remove the small clip on the end, be very careful not to loose the small clips or the small washers that go on...
