Thanks for the post High Octane . . . Unfortunately thats not the issue here, I've tried everything from setting the CX-300 back to all the factory presets right up to going through the bios and calling Roland tech support. Oddly enough the plotter is cutting just fine . . . no issues...

Should be software with the UPS that may let you input the shutdown time along with other variables . . .

I know of know end user UPS that will keep your system running for more than about a half hour, but you may consider always having a hardwired generator on standby for just such an emergency. The problem is that a back-up-battery supply [or] UPS is designed for safe computer shutdown...

PDF files, creation/conversion/importation are a must for a graphics designer, ofcourse the best is the original AdobePDF, but if you cant afford it, or aren't ready to buy it, then I suggest using one of the above named programs . . . Thanks Bobby for the new and continued support...
