actually, i was reading your threads and have a question, how did you line up printing on side two?

hey, not sure where i was to post this. i have four cartridges, light cyan, 40% left exp. october 2011 light magenta 30% left exp. december 2011 those are ss21 inks 440mls also are white (2) 220 mls expires 2011 april. left 30% send me a message, will separate these cartridges...

i hate solvent printers thanks, i will. now after printing some small jobs, my machine no longer prints, or does test prints. all i get is this: error 7 voltage error (0----) i then have to turn off the machine. any suggestions? i do own a double barrel shotgun. Chris

this sounds like ink starvation. the weird thing is its only happening on the yellow. you need to check the dampers under the cover and make sure the yellow is not leaking or clogged. there is a check valve further up the machine that sometimes causes issues. otherwise, i have no idea. . .

Hi, i have been printing with this printer for six months. its over 2 years old. does anybody know a really good way to save a JV-130 head besides the normal methods? All my heads (8) are perfect :clapping: except the magenta section. it doesn't matter what i do. the test lines are 68-73% there...

the dampers are actually pretty easy to replace. take off the cover, and you will see them. there are two thin metal cross bars that go across the top ( to hold them down) remove those, pinch the top clips(squeeze) and they come right out by pulling up. the cables are numbered, so that is the...

looks like i am screwed. i got everything running again. All the heads even fired right. except, everything prints BLACK. run a test pattern, and all the colors show up. great. looks like the board is toast.

Folks, (who have these printers), you must remove the head cover and LOOK to make sure they are not leaking. while those "white plastic things" above the head look good, THEY ARE NOT. On the sides of these things is some kind of "saran wrap" material. the ink will eat through all eight of them...

i agree. always print a chart. i find that vector vinyl reflective prints really good with the mimaki. and its pretty cost effective too.
