I use a 3M product. Not sure of the exact item. I can find out if you like. I've tried generic brands, but I find it's a fussy beast depending on the brand of banner used.
I use double sided tape. I trim the banner with 1 inch "white space" and apply the tape 1" in from the outside of the edges. Then fold the banner over onto the tape to form a perfect, straight edge with bleed (if necessary). On a long banner, I simply do it in sections and have no problems with...
Holy crap! I just about threw up watching that! I'm terrified of heights... not to mention that if that were me up on top of that, it'd be bending or breaking off!:ROFLMAO:
Hi and welcome from Calgary, Alberta! :Canada 2: Nice introduction. When you do find the funds to become a premium member, I'm sure you will find it well worth the minimal price it costs!
Tape hem all 4 sides. Looks more professional than just top and bottom, plus uses very little tape & time to do. Grommets every 2', exception is on 36" width, then a grommet goes at 18".
I'm considering an industrial sewing machine. Mosh... what brand do you use and how much actual working...
I'm running version 4.something of Composer. I'll try importing your PDF file and see what I can do with it. I need the practice in Composer anyway!!!
Thank you so much!
WOW! I post a reply and two more files come in... you guys all rock! :rock-n-roll:
I'm gonna have a look at every one and see which is easiest to work with to get this done! Gotta run 5,000 of these things, so it's gotta be right!
You're quick Pat! It's just got to cut as a circle. Main issue was getting bleed on the outside of the 4 shapes only while maintaining the integrity of the "M" shape on the inside. Huge part of the problem was no outline on the letter. I've always been nervous about working with nodes and points...
Okay... based on all your reply's, this is what I've come up with. Wasn't too hard to do at all... just took a little patience. Red line represents cut. I'll run a few and see how they look. I can't believe some of the underlying power of the Adobe products that just lays in wait to be used!!
I...
No, Gerber Gold foil on white 220!
Yeah, that's likely what I'll have to do. Times New Roman is a good base to start the re-draw. Just need to spend a half hour manipulating anchor points.
Hey Pat. It's just what's inside the circle. The 4 vector shapes that make up the circle actually form the "M" shape. I think I'll have to create the "M" letter to make this work properly! Thanks for the feedback!
