what roland do you have? a lot of roland parts are interchangeable.

if you have a XP BOOTABLE CD, then all you got do is put it in the cd tray....and let it install, and it will dump vista.

WORKING, its a $200-400 piece. non working, $0-100!

legal version of flexi??? i use my rolands connected as a PRINTER. flexi, in its setup will ask you what and where you are connected, tpye of plotter and orientation. NO OTHER DRIVER IS NEEDED. again i say OPERATOR ERROR.

how many of these PNC-1000 ARE STILL IN USE???? suckers was built like a tank!!!!!!!!!next one up was PNC-1100, i just sold my pair of them.these ROLANDS were of the PRO-CAMM models. put one of these next to a CM,CX,CG-24 and its whole different machine.

seems to me your having a WINDOWS PROBLEM. 1. are you running XP? 2. if so its it the SP3 update version? 3. with XP & and old legacy type ROLAND, its internal cards and imprinted cmos CANT DEAL WITH SP2 or SP3!!! i run XP, but NEVER INSTALLED SP2 or SP3. and i was cuttin to a pnc-1100.
