Did you profile your window mesh or do you use a profile you built for some other media?

I really like and suggest Clear Focus - but make sure you use the Curva Lam and not just the regular lam.

Typically I never ran as high as 45/40 - we were getting weird vertical streaks as well and it was from too much heat. We brought our heat settings down to 35/30 for most vinyls and 30/27 for most banners.

Just make sure you make a copy of the file first - that way if, by changeing the extension, you corrupt the file - which can happen by manually doing this - the original is still intact

You can get your screens calibrated but you should always print a sample on actuall material with actuall printer involved to get the customer to signoff - this is for both parties involved to be covered.

Do you have "profile" or type setting on your plotter? If so you should set one up for unlaminated vinyl and one for laminated vinyl. The cut depth and pressure is gonna be different for the two types and you might be getting a little resistance from the laminated vinyls which could - over the...

Also try adjusting your water to rapid tac ratios. If there's more water then RT then it shouldn't take too long to dry...or maybe it's the other way around. But thats what I would try.

That is a pretty nifty trick - I've never known that...I guess that's what makes me an installation guy and not a design guy.

What are these Alt 0146 and 0147's you refer to? How do you use them or how do you type them?
