If I were you I'd probably contact another company. If I were looking for a photographer to take pics for me, and no one at the company's I'd tried would give me the answers I wanted, I'd just go to another one, local or not.

I'm using Cut Server. I've never found a good way to use FineCut except for just cutting regular vinyl, not the printed stuff. I normally don't have anything on a roll when it's being cut...cause the first thing it does is unrolls itself. I've tried adjusting the height's of the rollers too...

I like Cricut! Ok, just kiddin'...I have a Gerber that's old as the hills, from the mid 90's, and then just bought the Mimaki Printer/Plot combo couple years ago. I like the mimaki, but I haven't really used anything else to compare it to.

I'd make my jobs as big as my work area is. I normally just do it in 4' X 54" lengths. Then my wife can handle them, and they don't completely take over everything else that I'm working on while it's all printing. You probably have more room than me though if your printin' off that big of size.

I'm all about the bartering w/ anyone. When they come in, if they bring it up, I'll either go ahead and do it, and then trade them even, or I'll owe them, or they'll owe me. It normally works out better for each anyway.
