    If I'm not mistaken there is a small o-ring that goes over the line and inside the brass not that when tightened down helps seal the connection! Make sure you didn't loose this small o-ring if it is there try cleaning it.

    I have seen a properly setup Mimaki put up against a Mutoh at a show and even the Mutoh tech said the Mimaki looked better!

    Those are both good printer! What you need to look at is which vendor will give you the best support after the sale! Remember that once the unit is paid for you will still need to use it and most likely will have technical questions that will need answered in a hurry!

    These numbers are different grades of vinyl from each manufacturer. You need to contact your deal and get color chart that will tell you some of the info about each series!

    I will also add that you want to get the ink out of the head also! Some inks will not mix (chemically Compatible) and could damage the head itself!

    You can not polish a turd! Also their is a lot more to printing with these large format printers than just hitting print! What do you know about ICC profiles? Also there is maintenance on the printers and if you do not print often they cost a lot to replace the heads!
