  1. Seiko W-64S Media misaligned

No service manual on hand for this one, so not sure. Look for slots in the platen where the media rests under the head.
  2. Seiko W-64S Media misaligned

Try unloading the media entirely and see if the error stays the same. Check along the media guides, rollers and encoders for built up dirt, paper fibers, etc.
  3. Seiko W-64S Media misaligned

Sounds like a bad or dirty sensor if I were to guess.
  4. UJF 7151 plus thread.

Since the subtanks are metal, they can take some crazy flushing and knocking around. None of that crappy filter mesh to get damaged like in the plastic ones.
  5. Need Help JFX200-2513 Clear Gloss is Produced as Matte/Satin

If you have the special properties set to glossy, you might adjust the lamp sliders forwards (towards back) and see if that helps. Just got a jfx200 yesterday, so a whole new beast to me. The gloss works by delaying the curing of the ink so it has time to spread out. Matte cures it before it has...
  6. Anyone running UV DTF Films?

UV DTF prints straight on adhesive, so best off on a flatbed. Most UV DTF printers have a special set of rollers to put the film on as it prints. Normal printers rollers would get stuck on the adhesive.
  7. Sticky gloss ink

Older ink can take a long time to cure, sunlight is the nuclear option. There are ways to test the UV emission power, but the sensors are pricey.
  8. Sticky gloss ink

Yeah, might be bad LED modules or just hinky ink, they do go out. Toss the print out in the sunlight for a few hours and see if it gets better.
  9. Sticky gloss ink

Might be under curing, can hit it with an led black light and cure it more. Check the glass on your curing lights as well.
  10. Question LUS 170 and Chrome Silver?

Not available to my knowledge, but the ink can technically work with microencapsulated aluminum powder. Haven't got the ratios on hand from my old tests. Looks decent, but not as good as just using a silver vinyl.
  11. Mimaki UV Inks LUS 120 v LUS 170?

LUS-170 is the way to go on a UCJV300. More durable than LUS-120, similar price and seems to have greater availability on vendors out here. LUS-120 is still nice for flexibility on flatbed prints however.
  12. Looking for some guidance

No problem, welcome to the forums!
  13. Looking for some guidance

RasterLink 7 is like $46 and works pretty well and it's the RIP for Mimaki stuff. Otherwise, just preference. Also, you're in the classified ads, Mimaki section is here. https://www.signs101.com/forums/mimaki.208/
  14. UCJV300 - 160 Service / Maintenance manual

To avoid bumping this conversation constantly, I am fine with private messages as well.
  15. Mimaki 150-130 Troubles

Always check your capping station and its alignment, could be air getting into the head and not flushing due to a poor seal. New caps tend to mean new alignment needs to be performed. Since the dampers are new, shouldn't be an issue, but also might be a good idea to make sure air isn't getting...
  16. UJF 7151 plus thread.

Black ink is cursed, if it has been sitting a while, there might be solidification. I just disconnect the lines one by one and run a thin wire through the ink tubes to see where it's blocked. Since the pumps are diaphragm, they have to be moving to be pumping basically, they might get some flow...
  17. UJF 7151 plus thread.

Since these printers use low-slung MBIS (Mimaki Bulk Ink System) tanks, they use diaphragm pumps located in the upper right side of the printer instead of gravity fed valves like the UCJV.
  18. (OKC) Large Flatbed Printer Shipping/Freight Services? [Mimaki JFX500]

Anyone know of a freight company that can deliver something like a JFX500? The things look like a total behemoth to handle, but looking to move one in to print massive stupid things. Looks like they originally came in 2 parts. The one we're wanting moved is already assembled.
  19. Wanted Help for Arizona 460 GT

Not sure what this is doing in the help wanted classifieds, but I would probably turn the printer off. Try the flatbed printer section and you might have better luck. https://www.signs101.com/forums/flatbed-printers.222/
