I have a strange little glitchy thing happening. I am retouching a photo and when using the clone stamp, my brush keeps changing from giving me the circle indicating the area of the brush to just giving me a pinpoint type thing and I cannot tell how large of an area I am stamping. Does anyone...

Do you use it, Baz? Can the fonts be converted to curves? That is standard for what I tell everyone when getting files, I spill the directions in my sleep :Big Laugh . This particular co. says they can't convert text nor can they provide an .ai file???? The response I get is more like "huh?" or...

Does anyone use this or know how to get a file properly from Mac based Quark to PC based Illustrator, Flexi, Omega etc.? Can you convert the text to curves, outlines etc in Quark? I have a customer who builds everything in Quark and then prints the stuff out on a sheet of paper too large to scan...

I take that back. In wireframe mode in Illustrator, they turn black. So what is the purpose of this interesting feature? Did you come to any conclusions, Fred?

You can indicate what color the outlines are for each layer when you set up the layer. Comes in handy if you are working with separations, you can designate each with their corresponding color; easier to know what you have picked while working in wireframe mode. I use Illustrator 9, but it has...

The same thing happens when opening Inspire files in Flexi, but it gives you the option to convert the text to curves...of course you can no longer manipulate the text, but the layout is intact with proper kerning.
