I can only speak about PantherPro, the others I don't know, but I have had one for 8 years and it stills tracks 35' to 50' easy and can cut long runs with watching over it very little. the table top modles like the JSI are good , but require very careful alignment. The downfroce is for cutting...

The short anwser is YES it's wrights over the old file I found that as long as I haven't closed the file. I copy last, undo back to one I want I want to keep and then paste new one. ( I work off page so to speak, I make the file the size of the sign, Keep old lay outs, notes, lay out for cuts...

Thanx George, You can also set the save. To save every 5- 8 min. but that can be a pain too, it make Flexi seen to "Freeze" while it saves,but can be less irritating thatn losing all that time! Steve

Doug had a point about undo's, it dose take up the RAM,or increse the amount of RAM. Now I have a gig of RAM don't have that problem much any more. And to change the undo's go to Edit; Preferences; General; set the number of Undo's I keep mind around 100 but rarely use that much.

I hate to say Never, cause when you say that, you know what happens. I never had flexi to pop up a window and say never, it just don't import some files sometime. to slapakiss quote above: I usally have that happen when I have more than 8 windows or files open at once.

Thanx Y'all What RIP are you using? Onyx? cause we do have an Encad, with Flexi. Flexi is a great program (have used it for 8years), but out put & RIP are O.K.( colors are different EVERY DAY, only thing that prints consistantly is Black.) A lot of people I speak with say "Only Onyx Postershop"

Are you trying to run flexi on two computers with one key or do you have two keys? if you only have one key I don't beleve it will work. We have two programs (2 design & 1 computer Production, two keys ) and access through the network, And like Dennis said "Check that firewall"
