Only thing I can think of is maybe your fonts didn't reinstall when you re- loaded 4.95. Had a similar problem a while back with Win 98 and Signlab 5. Backed up signlab files to a CD, had a 'puter guru reinstall Win98, then reinstalled SL5. Nowadays when I import one of the old files off the CD...

My old desk top printer is on its last legs. New printers seem to only work with USB or Firewire connections. If a new printer is installed using USB, can the dongle be left plugged into the LPT-1 port on the back of the tower even though there is no cable going anywhere, and will SL5 "see" it...
