Im guessing you have your cutter hooked up through ethernet ports as I do with my S2160. It may be an issue with routing. I have had that issue after a storm and reset my router, and my problem went away. For some reason, after a power outage, it dropped the ip address and wouldnt pick it back...

I did have it once. I got a message from Windows that Network discovery had been turned off and needed to be turned back on. I never did anything with the computer to turn it off. I made a change in the regestry and so far it hasnt happened again. I really dont think my issue was with Flexi.

I understand your problem. It took me a yr with tech support and a beta software to get Flexi to work with Summa to be able to Perf Cut. We used to use the settings in the cutter, but Once you get your settings in Flexi, it is easier.

Only thing to look out for is sometimes even after you changed and saved the settings (blade pressure, speed) , closing and restarting Flexi resets the knife settings back to their default and have to be changed. I am running a Beta and have Flexi techs looking into this issue.
