DPF8000 is super sticky. be sure you want it to be where you want it because if you pop it up to adjust you will probably eggshell the paint. You should laminate it to give it some better body to make install easier.

on solvent or UV media there isnt really any truly matte media. it all has a coating so they all have a slight sheen to it. the only true matte media is uncoated AQ media.

you will need a complete new shaft. you can order it from Canon. they dont sell just the bit that broke. it happens. level the table or tape a 1/2" wide strip of 1/4" PVC with bannertape the the table edge to keep things from rolling off.

dont change the inks. it will fail. use AQ media. lexjet.com has high quality AQ self adhesive vinyl and much more. if it is for outdoor use you might want to laminate it with clear UV vinyl but even laminated AQ inks dont hold up well to the suns punishment.

laminating 13oz scrim banner is not a good idea due to the texture in the face of the media. if you want matte finish use matte banner material. you can laminate an entire 150' roll if you like.

we always have more than one roll. anytime a roll gets near the 1/2" mark we are ordering a replacement roll. when in doubt on a long job use the new roll and save the short roll for small jobs or roll it out on the big table and mark the measurement on the end of the roll for future jobs...
