what rip are you using? Are your feed calibrations set differently in the rip than they are on the control panel? Is your rip over ridding the printer for the settings?

Static, effects the Roland terribly, but doesn't bother the HP. I have the same problem with the fuzziness on small black details with the Roland.

3M makes an anti graffiti material that basically goes on the glass and peels off in layers as they get damaged. It is called Scotchgard 1004, might work for this application.

It is a great app, well designed and a great resource.

Outsource it to someone who knows what to do, it is alright to be the middle man if the job gets done correctly. Your customer is only interested in getting a quality product, and is probably less interested in you personally performing the task. Just a thought.

Clean your machine manually, then run a powerful cleaning cycle. That should help, if not check the profile you are using.
