US TECH is not worth the money they are asking for, I had it and sold it, was not reliable. When I bought it they sold for $4000 delivered which was ok price for it two years ago but now i see they want $6000 which is not worth the money.
You just need a different brand cutter, that's all. Summa S2 Tangential is what you need, and you will never have any problems cutting anything, as simple as that.
Graphtec people always have excuses.
If you are clueless about it, I would stay away from buying that printer or any other used printer that comes without some kind of a warranty. I don't know how much they are selling it for but if that printer is not in good printing condition you will be spending quite a bit to fix it. I mean...
I think he is located in Europe and not USA, so for him to use USA dealers is not an option. And I know that Mutoh and Summa are big in Europe so he won't go wrong with the Mutoh.
I would go the Mutoh/Summa route since latex is out of the question, I heard from a Roland dealer that the new printers are junk, not as good as the older models. And if you search some of the threads here you will see that many have problems with the newer models comparing to the older ones...

Summa all the way buddy, have had all makes and models of cutters and summa is by far the most reliable and precise cutting machine. Just like "grafigo" said you load the roll and forget about any mistakes if file is setup properly, it will cut the whole 50 yard roll without any mishaps.
If you...
One of the Roland dealers around my area that I often go to see and check out new equipment was not very impressed with the new Roland machines, he said I would be better getting one of the older models than the new ones. So that should tell you something.
The iEcho is a very promising machine, I think more people will need to look into it. It's on par with the higher ups that cost twice as much but are equally built.
What made you buy the CWT over the others, have you checked any other tables like the Rolls, Rollover and whatever else is out there. Was it the price or the built quality as well.
