  1. Drive through cabinets.

    Thanks Mike, Perfect! :U Rock:
  2. Drive through cabinets.

Weird, we use Faces and Sign Builders for all of our cabinets... but they don't make cabinets you can open for drive-thru's. Now I have a client who wants to replace his drive-thru cabinet with one 8' wide and 5' tall that sits on a pedestal. It doesn't need the speaker or microphones, but...

I didnt think you could downgrade indesign files at all.
  4. Hellllllllllllllllllllllllo Winter!

I am jealous.. It snows and sticks here once a year if we are lucky (though it did a few times last year). Enjoy!
  5. Need advice from one of you experts please.

JWM, I wish you the best of luck, I really do. I don't want to see anyone fail in life, it just surprises me how many people think they are going to go into this business wrapping cars and succeed. I want you to take this word of advice I am giving you seriously, because I mean it from the...
  6. Need advice from one of you experts please.

Sell vehicle wraps, sub out the printing to a merchant member until you can 1. Justify buying the new machine. 2. Afford it. Buying a printer is a BAD idea unless you are capable of running it on a consistent basis. Also, --- what they said... don't forget the $6000 laminator, the cost of...

  8. JV33 vs CJV30

Let me say - DO NOT get eco solvent ink and a CJV. I could see running the all in one with the ss21, as it would be nice to print something, and cut it without taking the material off of the printer, laminating, then putting it back on. However with ES3 inks, you cant even print coroplast...
  9. Strangest Client Request

Wife and I went on a "safari" at a nature preserve last Sunday, you pay $7 each to drive through, and $5 for a bucket of food. The animals there were pretty in tune with what was going on. They had all sorts of free roaming animals there, and a ram comes up to the car and sticks his head up to...
  10. worth bein alive for!!!!

Bought a new (to us anyway, it's 108 years old) house last spring. Looking forward to using the fireplace. Had to turn the heat on for the first time last night, was nice and toasty, but I am not looking forward to my gas bill. :thumb: Happy you are still with us OP
  11. How to do this?

Big big thanks to all of you for your suggestions. Mulling it all over, and will post my results! :notworthy:
  12. How to do this?

The Pillars are about 8' tell, the signs look to be about 24" or 30" - the metal seam you see on the pink one isnt visible unless you take what they had over the seam off, which looked to be a wrapped piece of aluminum taped the the seam. You can see the covered seam on the green signs' photo...
  13. How to do this?

I would be supplying the lexan - the signs that are there look like lexan panels bent to curve around the cement pillars, and screwed in place with another piece covering the seam. The sign that's there looks like the print was either printed directly to the lexan using a flatbed printer that...
  14. How to do this?

I have a high end client who doesn't mind spending extra if it gives them a look they are after, and I like clients like that... so here's my dilemma. They are redoing their parking deck and had some of these signs made during a previous remodeling job. Now they are restriping their lots...
  15. This is awesome... Remember the Green Machine?

I had a Dukes of Hazzard Big Wheel when I was little. It had the handbrake you could do 180's with.... thought I was the ****... then the neighbor's kid broke out his green machine... Now they make them for adults. http://www.hammacher.com/Product/Default.aspx?sku=11894 Sweet.....

  19. Throw me a lifeline here, font id?

I know - I need a larger view too. Gotta love it. The "D" is really familiar... I just can't place it.
  20. TraceMyIp.org

Last attempt to be nice here.. then I am moving on my way... wouldnt it be nice to know which of your advertising methods worked, and which didnt? This allows you - online anyway - to figure out who you are reaching, and how they found you. Now in person, sometimes I ask my clients where they...
